Operating the Calgary Colts is a significant year-round commitment that extends far beyond game day. With more than 80 players, a large coaching staff, and extensive medical, equipment, and operational support, the Colts’ annual operating budget exceeds $400,000, averaging more than $4,000 per athlete each season.

Sponsorships and donations directly support essential costs such as player safety equipment, travel and accommodations, meals and nutrition, medical and athletic therapy services, league fees, facilities, and day-to-day team operations. As a non-profit organization, the Calgary Colts rely on community and corporate support to keep participation affordable and to ensure young athletes can compete at the highest level of Canadian junior football.

Supporting a Calgary Colt helps cover over $4,000 in seasonal costs per athlete, including equipment, travel, and daily expenses. Players balance school, work, family, and the demands of high-level football, and your personal sponsorship ensures no one is held back due to finances.

The CJFL is a registered Canadian charity and is able to issue tax-deductible receipts for personally donated funds. Supporting a player through a personal sponsorship makes you eligible to receive a tax receipt.
