Canadian Junior Football League Alumni - by Ron White

The past year has been a challenge in many ways. A year ago I was rushed to hospital and had emergency open heart surgery. Everything I was doing came to a halt while I recovered from this traumatic event. To add to all of this my computer crashed in January 2007 and I lost most of the alumni information. I do have some email addresses; however, I lost everything from 2005 to February 2007.

Renew your CJFL Alumni membership and bring a few of your former teammates on board as well. Spread the word about your CJFL alumni and the Centennial event in 2007. CJFL Alumni

The Chilliwack Huskers defeated the Vancouver Trojans 18-3 with Brady Emblem leading the way on defence with 17 points.

The OFC and PFC teams have opened their main camps with regular season play starting the weekend of August 11/12.

The BCFC has three games scheduled on Saturday.

In Nanaimo the Raiders host the Victoria Rebels at Caledonia Park at 3:00 pm. The South Surrey Rams travel to Kamloops for a 7:00 pm against the Broncos at Hillside Stadium. The second 7:00 pm tilt will take place at Burnaby Lakes Complex as the Vancouver Trojans host the Okanagan Sun.
